RECORD A CD PROGRAM The RECORD A CD program is for singers or
singer/songwriters that wish to have a digital recording, professional
representation of their music or voice. These CD demos can be either cover songs
or original songs. If they are cover songs, the CDs are not allowed to be sold
without proper licenses. Cover song demos ARE, on the other hand, permitted to
be distributed to friends, family, and agencies. Remember the word "demo" stands
for "demonstration" only. Studio T understands every situation, singer, and
songwriter is unique. We often customize our rates and services per client, but
in general use the basic guidelines provided here. |
| Q: What are the "CD" options available at Studio
T? A: Record a DEMO CD using cover songs: This is the most popular of our CD
options. This usually consists of 3 cover songs that you are vocally prepared to
sing. Music provided by singer or we offer a large selection of tracks at Studio
T. |

Q: How much does recording a demo usually cost?
A: A full CD production 3-song cover demo averages between $600.00 -$900.00
dollars. Original material production and full length CDs are higher.
Q: I love to sing and want to make a CD , but I never had a voice lesson,
nor have studio experience. What can Studio T do for me? A: If you are an
inexperienced singer; Studio T suggests 2 months of voice lessons once a week
before taking on the challenge of recording a CD. Singing in tune, microphone
placement, and ear training needs to strongly be attended to. If you vocal
coaching techniques, we can help! |

Q: I write lyrics (words to songs), and only have parts of
songs, or song ideas....Can I try to make a CD and finish my songs? A:
Studio T offers help in this area with a professional songwriter and producer.
This does not fall under the category of a regular CD demo. This becomes a
collaboration and/or a production situation, which is usually handled by having
a contract between Studio T and singer/songwriter.

| Q: How many CDs will I get? A: Studio T short
run duplication is a minimum of 10 CDs. Studio T offers unlimited quantity of CD
orders as a maximum. Our CDs are pro level, with case, gloss cover, and
direct-to-CD full color printing. |

Q: What do I do with my CD after it is done? A: If you are a beginner
singer, a CD demo will usually go to friends, family, venues for booking,
agencies, or even alongside a college application. If you would like to take
your career further, Studio T offers consultations in packaging, distributing,
